Original article: Fox muzzles Sally Field

Look let's get realistic here

Fox muzzles Sally Field.

But Salon is covering America while pretending marijuana doesn't exist. And even worse -- they're pretending medical marijuana doesn't exist and none of the science exists.

FOX doesn't muzzle marijuana. When there's a big medical marijuana science story -- they generally cover it. And surprise -- they generally cover both sides fairly.

So whose side do people think I ought to choose in a debate over muzzling political topics between Fox and Salon?

JESUS CHRIST PEOPLE

WHY WHY WHY on Earth would I ever side with Salon??????

Fox covers medical marijuana fairly.

Salon muzzles the subject completely and acts like the science doesn't matter and everyone can just go die.

Oh yeah, that evil Fox. How dare they.

Sally Field can't save anyone from a prion infection

THis publication has such a deliberately politically targeted editorial policy -- Joan has no right to complain about the editorial policy of any other media organization.

Do you know what they just discovered in France? Marijuana might cure mad cow disease. And Creuzfeld-Jacob disease too. Any disease caused by prions -- it looks like pot might be the cure.

You see -- that's knowledge. That's actually quite vauable knowledge. It's amazing beyond belief knowledge, because up until now, medical science has not found any effective treatments fr prion infection.

Are you ever going to find out about this through an article in Salon?

Hell no, because Joan's policy is that public ignorance is preferable to public knowledge when it comes to marijuana.

So ignorance is a conscious policy here. Ignorance is a good thing at Salon.

Can Sally Field cure anyone from a prion infection?

People are defending her as if she actually could.

Original article: If Crocs could kill

I guessing you haven't shopped for shoes lately?

Nowadays shoe manufacturers are adding a lot of clever forms of support to both high heels and flip flops. It's actually pretty amazing.

I know a topic far more interesting than Crocs

Scientists in France have discovered a possible cure for prion infection. It's the first such treatment ever discovered by medical science.

Okay I'm going to bring up Asperger's again

It says in my Asperger's book that we tend to go on too much when we're talking about some topic that obsesses us.

I believe this because that's what I do too. I get really interested in some topic and it's really hard to get myself to shut up.

Tasers are not the way to handle people who can't bring themselves to finish their questions on time.

Do all socially inappropriate and politically obsessed people need to fear this kind of treatment when they get on a roll and can't shut themselves up?

Good for Kerry and Romney. I mean this is a democracy, right. The socially inappropriate people have contributed a lot to this country from their inability to shut themselves up.

If it weren't for obsessed people, how would politics even function? Who would even work on a campaign?

He has a pathological relationship with all women

Bill Maher is always complaining about the stupidy and shallowness of Hollywood women who go after celebrities.

He knows how stupid and shallow they are because those are the kind of women he prefers to date.

He's that kind of guy.

Original article: The return of Karl Rove

So he's FOR freedom and innovation and AGAINST the illusory security of government regulation?

The Journal of Neuroscience just published an article by scientists in FRANCE who found that cannabinoids might be able to treat prion infections, something no other drug is known to do.

So when are we going to get the freedom we need to innovate this kind of research in America?

When is Karl Rove going to pressure DEA chief Karen Tandy to stop using the illusory security of government regulation to prevent American medical researchers from testing these things we keep learning from European scientists?

A letter is being sent to Tandy from 50 members of Congress telling her to stop this illusionary regulatory protection right now and get with the program of freedom and innovation in medical marijuana research

Karl, they might let you add your name to the letter if you ask them nicely.

I think you underestimate the number of people impacted by domestic violence

Medica critics know darn well that domestic violence exists and they know darn well OJ was guilty of it but they always fail to consider how many people in America have been impacted by domestic violence.

A lot of those people are going to get pleasure watching OJ go down even if it's just for a parking ticket.

Tonight I was absent-mindedly singing a little gleeful ditty and I realized I was singing "OJ's in jail. OJ's in jail."

It feels very nice. I'm enjoying it immensely. I send my warmest regards to the Las Vegas police and prosecutors for everything they've done to make this happen.

By the way

His murder trials were cauldrons of issues having to do with race and class and law enforcement and celebrity and media and justice.

So you culti-crit types don't actually believe domestic violence exists or that it matters or that people are impacted by it?

This time? A third-rate robbery.

We'll take whatever we can get.

OJ's in jail, OJ's in jail, OJ's in jail, OJ's in jail.

Nobody would put my father in jail.

But OJ's in jail, OJ's in jail,

someone finally got that bum

and put his butt in jail.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Bob in Pacifica

OJ's in jail, OJ's in jail,

I'm so happy that OJ's in jail.

By the way about race

OJ is not ALL black men. He's only just ONE. So just because he's black doesn't make his legal problems about race.

If you're so darned worried about racial inequality, then let's see some more coverage of the War on Drugs, which is a machine that is constantly at work reducing the racial equality in America every freaking single day.

Every single day, the War on Drugs is doing this, and people just let it happen.

So don't talk to me about race.

The only downside of OJ being in jail

He'll be forced to take some time off from that exhausting, expensive, relentless search he's been conducting day and night for the last 10 years to find his ex-wife's true killers.
