Original article: Obama's best veep choice

Brilliant writing

I am a true conservative. Wouldn't think of voting for Obama the socialist. But, in spite of her comments, Ms. Paglia is a brilliant writer, and an enlightened thinker. Rarely are today's columinsts funny and profound at the same time. And her use of the English language is outstanding. With such a mind, I can't fathom how she has been inspired by or impressed with Obama--he lacks the depth that Paglia clearly exhibits.

Camille--a relative breath of fresh air

I LOVE reading Camille. I am not part of the "Limbaugh Brigade," but I am a religious, social conservative. Camille is obviously an independent thinker, and that is exactly what infuriates so many of her detractors. She deviates from the party line they subscribe to, even though they fancy themselves as intelligent thinkers. Camille is the real thing. Her insights are simple yet profound. Her reasoning is logical and seems to be founded in an inner decency and quest for deeper truth. She is a breath of fresh air in a society of narrow, shallow, unprincipled, amoral and party-driven pundits.

Camille is a beautiful, thoughtful woman. Her frank and reasoned articulations are truly refreshing.

Negative readers' comments vindicate Paglia

Camille must love reading the vicious attack letters--some even wishing death--because each one just vindicates what Camille so eloquently and accurately says about them. What is more surprising than Salon continuing Camille's article is that Salon apparently caters to such an ugly, narrow-minded, vicious group of readers. Camille's article was insightful, balanced and fair,as usual. FOX News should hire her and maybe we would see the bombastic readers' who post here spontaneously combust!
