Dealing with the problems of McCain if you are a Christian...

Suggest you read Mathew Ch 14, v15-21. (aka feed of the 5k, loaves and fishes) (remember Christ reacting just after being told that John has been murdered by Israel's quisling and adulterer.)

Then listen to Obama when he spoke to “Sam the whatever” about to sharing.

Then go back to Christ in Matthew asking “to bring them to me”.

Then picture the growl of John McCain as he states; “he wants to take it from you and spread it around.”

Then in your privacy decide to whom to give your vote and where you’d like to pray.

Wore my class ring into the voting booth...

It is a heavy gold ring with a deep blue stone that has the clarity of deep ocean. I rarely wear it. After graduation, I removed it as I was going to Vietnam. Later, sea assignments and other events such as being around operating machinery made it unsafe or uncomfortable to wear. I didn't take it on travel or even to Iraq when this war created an assignment. It was too special to wear on business.

But it was special enough to wear to vote in such an election - an election that might restore honor to our nation and character to the Presidency.

I voted for Barack Obama at 6:05 am this morning here in New Jersey, touching each of the voting blocks with the finger on which was my Naval Academy ring. I had been saving it all these decades for such an event.

Original article: Condi Rice on Obama

With the excitement, Condi can give the gift of closing GITMO!

After having freed ourselves with this election from an evil strain that has too long lasted within our souls, Condi Rice can add a gift for the future and to the past.

GITMO's prison remains a deleterious operation, a national disgrace, our Bastille, which we can remove.

Do you think, Condi, that you can use your good graces within those of this departing administration to press that it be shut down before 01-20-09?

It could be a very good gift to John McCain for his service. It would free the future from the albatross.

Think about it.

A mutt like...all of us

As we learn more about our genetic makeup, we find that is really what we are physically. Unless we close our minds, in mind and spirit we are the amalgam of the mutt also.

We elected a very wise man. We have define ourselves broadly. This is truth.

Barack Obama, thank you.

There is too much of implied "assistance needed".

This is especially true at the Pentagon where it seems that keeping Gates as a caretaker is desired and necessary for the defense of the nation and that Admirals and Generals appear very comfortable making policy decisions reserved for elsewhere in the Executive while the new President comes of age. And of course the slave trade network from bounty or field via air routes and terminating in Guantanamo Bay must be continued cause they really don't think the Constitution, Conventions and Treaties are up to the standards equal to the cafeteria where these unelected keepers of trust feed. Gratuitous, indeed.

Change will come as a wholesale dismissal of appointees and revocation of stained commissions occurs across the Potomac as the President addresses the Nation at inauguration.

Change will be noted at the moment the torturers' brothels across the world are closed and the Gitmo's landlord, the Navy, places the Jack of the 50 United States back on the bows of US Navy's ships to note proper ownership.

Original article: Trust Obama on Clinton

Trusting Obama is easy...it is keeping Gates that may cause wonder.

For months Secretary Gates has been using his shills in the Pentagon probably during their days jobs to float his willingness to stay on...for either new occupant. One wonders if Mr. Gates thinks that his ability to manage the slave trade to Camp Justice (Gitmo) and sustain the high productivity output of those special courts operating there contrary to the Constitution would specifically endear him to the beneficiaries of an election that was a final victory against of the enslavement of people by the United States.

Competence is just one factor..minimum but not sufficient

Secretary Gates may be competent. But throughout the party that supported Barack Obama, there is a wealth of competent potential Secretary material. Mr. Gates strength at the time of selection was that he could work among the scoundrels that fed at the RNCs trough, that he could execute Dick Cheney's orders with discretion and rid the general officer ranks with those who may have shown latency of proper character development going into the 2008 election.

MRAPs and MMRs are platforms that isolate the fielded forces from the terrain in which they are deployed. They are a tribute to bad generalship - except in their ability to protect troops in a place where they have lost control. Ever time one shows up in theater it is taking another group of service people out of the line. They are death traps in an conventional combat setting. Obsolete from the time of conception.

Gates is a professional mole with domestic manners. Please return to the wealth endowed estate in the Northwest or College Station.

If Gates and Gitmo continue, will Susan be of any more use to the nation than Condi?

The world will still see the enslavement center called Justice still in operation and its two year caretaker still in charge. Open hypocrisies are hard to shield on the head charlatans leave town.

A former UN Ambassador would be prepared to wait for a answer on the crimes in Cuba until hell freezes over. Suggest Susan await taking the position before she finds herself looking at Russian spy photos during an embarrassing Security Council session on Gitmo.

Edit

Open hypocrisies are hard to shield after the head charlatans have left town.

Or is he holding on to the bottom...

Gates retention is troubling. For the last two years, he has been the landlord of Camp Justice, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; held the lights on for the un-Constitutional courts and maybe provided the water carrier services for the dictates of the acting President in the bunker.

This is a truly conservative action that does not encourage confidence in the restoration of the rule of law. Opting for a slow release of enslaved people is not change but continuance.
