An awakening needs to be a repeated event also....

The Times by repeating a continuing and endemic ethical lapse does more to cause a resolution to the public benefit than the "same old story" disclaimer by Salon. As we have seen from the dark side, repeated lies and deceptions are very effective tools in making murder, pillage and criminal negligence respectable without any fear of accountability.

An interesting analysis would be a comparative between the dollar value of a lying toady, once in uniform with stars, on TV to the dollar value placed upon the time of a procured young prostitute at the Mayflower wearing a general officer's costume.

It would give a perspective on the value we apply against sending young adults into harm's way at home or abroad.

Pentagon is still giving the selected propaganda favors...

Why are they continuing to have a vacuum cleaner salesman take a free trip to GITMO? A small businessman gor to Kurdistan? It works and unfortunately it feeds all but the honest.

You are keeping the enemy's embarrashment in the headlines because...

It would that appear this is just pandering on behalf of...a Clinton appointment, mouth of what do you prefer?

Journalism and Advocacy are in conflict...

Most experts are by definition an advocate of a professional bias. The question is if the bias is that of a group with uniform thinking without uniform appearance. This is what a rise to rank in service will produce. It is in conflict with the profession of a journalists. We deceive the audience when we confuse the advocate with the journalist.

What stays if John McCain comes in....the unforgivable

History has not been kind to nations that fool themselves by grasping at once heroes for leaders at times of severe challenge...Weimar Germany and defeated France in the 20th Century come to mind. U.S Grant did not do us much good. Eisenhower bringing the McCarthy era to the summit did not serve us well either.

We are ending an era of our Executive gone criminal, our Congress reduced to an extension of the White House staff, our treasury looted by a select rich few and their K-street charlatans, our enemies enriched, our friends insulted and our Constitution denigrated.

This all stays in place with an election of John McCain ( as his handlers desire.) - a man once heroic and honorable but now a hollow speech reader than smiles for approval when periods appear on the monitor. His threats are fantastic, his facts distorted and his greatness delusional. He performs like a man who has taken the devil's bate in Laura Bush's favorite story of The Grand Inquisitor from Dostoyevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. He has been so chosen.

The denigration is unfortunate to see; but, unforgivable to believe or support.

Enough judges from the Parochial Archipelago...

Need a new Presidency to stop the appointment of men to the Supreme Court who must have been embittered in elementary school. This I hope is their last high water mark assaulting our Constitution.

Original article: Slamming Wesley Clark

Gratitude for the commitment does not include the promotion.

All things considered the Navy did not reward John McCain with an admiral's flag for his heroism. The services do limit rewards to honors but they are not foolish enough to hand over responsibility to those it judges as not the best for the position. Clark, a West Pointer, understands that and so stated. Other service academy graduates understand that also.

This issue is a tawdry affair of the quality of a Rove slime. It demeans all that risk their lives and John McCain probably, if free of the cabal which now controls him, would state so.

Republicans who buy their way free of life's risks are always seeking a replacement for U.S. Grant - a former hero available as a Trojan Horse under which they continue their plunder of the treasury, other nations and those not given access to their franchises and country clubs.

We have a very strong need for leadership change and character rehabiltation. National responsibility and leadership is too important to be left as an honor entitlement to a Republican beneficiary.

Keep it in perspective.

Murder is unforgivable because the forgiver is destroyed. All else can be corrected even Finegold admitted that. Get out of the frump.

Real news - have you watched Countdown on MSNBC the last fews days. There is a new person in the seat. She is better at it than the boys. Good delivery, believable projection. Nice job.

If Odd Ball, Keeping Tabs and weak 3-2-1 stories replaced, she could scatter the Fox Noise back to the huckster lineup of its early days.

Is This The Wailing Wall?

Or is it where the beached whales wallow?

Joan, oh my, folding so soon? Usually this time of the year that is the venue of the Chicago Cubs.

Get over it, we have a nation to save!

Stay on the Issues that really hurt us.

Good recovery Joan. We have real challenges and the small talk is for the Fox noise barkers.

Change is coming if we stay focussed.

We have not yet begun to fight! : Obama shouts on the Khyber Pass.

That what I desire to hear from Barak.

Give back the looted treasury!: Obama shouts on the streets of London, New York, Geneva and Dubai and in an open meeting for former White House patrons.

That is another...

Fair terms of Trade!: Barak shouts on the lawn of the Veterans Administration, square of Harvard and halls of Stanford while demanding opportunities for those who carry the burden of the war equal to the benefits of the tenured few who did so well from it.

An also;

It is our responsibility to rehabilitate what we have wrought!:

Barak Obama standing in one of the many Iraqi refugee camps in Syria and Jordan demands of America for the destruction created on the road to "Mission Accomplished."

Barak Obama then will be President of the United States.
