Let every nation know.....the tide has turned!

That maybe South Carolina has of all places become a high water mark for the last of poison that has shaped us since the 1980's. A time when regardless of which party sat in the White House it has been a quarter of a century where the lie did as Twain would say get around the world long before truth put on its boots. And so with the voice of Barak Obama who spoke of being united and the endorsement of Caroline Kennedy who spoke of the inspiration equal to that of her father we have an opportunity to turn ourselves. The Tide has turned. South Carolina, they sure know how to fire a cannon. Maybe us Yankees here in New Jersey will continue the volley.

Obama will lift the image

When you read his work you understand that he lives among those he writes about. He is empathetic and it shows in how he approaches issues. Each candidate does the approach differently; but, only Obama shows empathy. The rest are advocates for a point even when in a duet.

Original article: John McCain's endless war

Think of the Moshe the Beadle in Night....

Sometime when I listen the John McCain and our reaction to what he says, I think of the Beadle who appears early in Elie Wiesel's masterpiece. I am a Barak Obama supporter; but, alas like John McCain have been to the Naval Academy, Vietnam and lately to Iraq. As wealth and extremism congeals in the land of a bitter Allah and his prophet and focuses itself upon chaos, suppression and the expulsion of the foreign ideas of universal rights and human dignity, I am afraid we would be wise not to ignore and foolishly dismiss the warning of a man we might not understand. On the other it would be incredibly stupid to join in the cabal of vultures, charlatans, incompetents, tent preachers and yes "conservatives" that will come or stay in Washington with him and will continue to sell us out the any harem owner who controls a gasoline pump or large investment fund.

Hold MoveOn but repudiate their smear of Petraeus

Pass to Barak....

If you believe you will have MoveOn repudiate the attack on Petraeus, that was a dirty tactic and will give McCain a powerful backlash tool. A President, if you will be so blessed, will guide the character of his fielded forces and they will in return hold a loyality to him. Petraeus has served his country and President well. It is the President that failed the country not his General. MoveOn has to pull it back, soon, or be given its walking papers. We who have accepted the "united" in our decision to vote for you this Tuesday; know also that "change" works both ways. Our dogs must stop barking also!

There is more to this than being a bigot or a bigotte...

Let us stop the name calling which betrays only ourselves. Have heard too many get away with a despicable level of backhanded bias achieved because they are among the current protected species of the humankind. Our constitution recognizes only native born or not for who can be President. Otherwise it is wide open. If you want only "my kind now..because I deserve it!", you will inherit what you deserve - a masked person who mimics your wants. This is the realm of the charlatans and their .... well you can fill it. I would submit that the current administration, and its staff in the Congress, is an example of what one will receive if one chases their charlatan. I will go with Obama because he is a person who speaks and writes of the people who pass along the way in his journey from Jerusalem to Jericho and he encourages people to, like the Samaritan, join him and cross to the other side of the road that is not taken by the priest and Levite.

Original article: Time to start over

It started at 7:05 am in New Jersey.

I found myself just the hour before reading the weather report for northcentral New Jersey - it was foggy with a still but wet air. It felt like 32F as they like to tell you. The freeze point but with predawn darkness. And yet, I started with a rush of anticipation - like a soldier waiting for the salvo that would lead him over the top - the point of departure. It was nearby that point - only a hundred yards from where I was siting. By 6:40am, I was finishing my last coffee and placing the laptop in hybernation. 6:55am, the satchel loaded, closed and hanging from my soldier, I walk thru the fog but now only maybe 25 yards from the point of departure. 7:02am, I signed my name to book the last person held just below the point. I stood an waited a minute. 7:04am, the curtain before the point opened and onward I walked. 7:04:30 - there I stood and look at the one lit light that marked the point named Barak Obama. 7:05am, I push the button that was my vote and announced that it was sun rise at the poll. An so the campaign for change had begun for me with my part of the volley.
