Unethical...like watching dog fights

This is a red state thing to treat a demented old man so...and to think his heirs actually benefit from this. High plains shame.

We need an electorial march to the sea!

It is time we get our patriotic act together. Pass the reform bill ASAP. Then refocus the Democratic Party and Independents to put assets in the 2010 election and remove from office the last vestiges of the Jefferson Davis political party that has reduced the party of Lincoln to a regional chapter of the KKK.

In doing this we will liberate those who for too long have be forced to cower to thugs in expensive suits and with bad manners.

Remember it was Jim Crow who shouted in the House. It is Jim Crow that attends and chairs all the meetings of the RNC and its caucuses on Capitol Hill.

A strong bill accomplished very quickly....

It is not time to quibble....Democrats must blast thru the bunch of them. The Republican cabal by their bad faith action and lynch mob hucksterism are appearing more to be those concerned with election overthrow than the good of the Nation. Call them out as the President warned, pass the legislation and then work to throw them out in the next election cycle.

It is time for the ballot box to be used to liberate our fellow citizens who remain under the shackles of the RNC and daily subjected to the intimidation by Murdock.

It is really about privatizing well endowed public assets.

Thru all the fog..let's face it wealth management for the really wealthy has taken a beaten in fixed income secure investments, recently. Now that the old gold of public right away is held other public monopolies such as Medicare, Social Security, Education, Toll Roads and Bridges are being sought. Remember Bush's Trifecta term for 911, this is just the same. Crisis to opportunity - remember win GWOT by wholesale wealth transfer. It is back searching.

Get off the issues, Democrats and Independents, the right is chasing the ability to privatize sovereignty for that annuity for its own posterity. That is why they front people like Beck, Palin, Steele, Fox News and the entire alumni of Bob Jones University. These guys may say they read the Bible but they really are reading Babbitt.

The big lie is elsewhere....

Does anyone suspect that all this excitement is to create a mob that will cry for the privatization of public assets and money that sits in Medicare and Social Security?

All that money from tax breaks and special deals needs to be invested here. It can't go offshore or even to Switzerland. Here it can extract tolls and premiums as a singly held monopoly. No competition. It can become the rich family's eternal annuity as large as greed and ruthlessness can enable.

Fools are being manipulated to place their future retirement and health care in control of someone who will make the decision about what and when they will receive only if it creates profit.

Ted Kennedy would have spotted it for all its worth and said something if reform goes into peril.

Bonus question. What happens if that same monopoly owns also the nursing home, undertaker, organ bank and the cemetery?

The worst fear is embarrassment....

of causing a debasement in reputations of the CIA leadership.

There one has it...not the violation of treaties, conventions or the rule of law...not the endangerment of fielded troops...not the pollution of an intelligence data...not the adulteration of evidence...not even the debasement of human dignity...just the loss of perceived position of well regarded delusional held by an incompetent and degraded elite that feasts well at Langley.

Just old news, newly released, as its director would observe.

Our enemies must cheerfully think so also.

Make change outside of Government.....

Politically astute as GOP panderers would cheer. But I guess jumping ship as the State goes thru trouble is an admirable Republican principle.

Greed masked as fiscal irresponsibility....

Fox is behind it, they work for the Chinese debt holders. Old white guys and painted women barking on demand.

Read the memos in front of James Stockdale

These memos should be publicly read in front of the James Stockdale memorial behind Luce Hall at the US Naval Academy. Maybe by the Navy Flag Officers who participated in the national security leadership during the time of memo development and execution.

It would remind the midshipmen there how quickly we can deteriorate ethically from standards which carried Admiral Stockdale through the years in Hanoi and torture. Remind them how much honor is traded for gold.

It would warn them how short the heritage of a Medal of Honor recipient can last.

Then let us start to rebuild our ethics and honor on our own behalf.

Original article: Scoring Gibbs vs. Cheney

Lost to sea...

Aren't old VPs supposed to be lost on the wake of memory and history? Other than as a defendant, is Cheney of any other need?

Original article: I was a teenage socialist!

Isn't Socialism secular Christianity?

Miracle of the loaves and fish really an example of a single instance offering rapidly transforming a large crowd to share and uncover a remaining surplus. How about in Acts when new Christians sold their property and gave the receipts to the Apostles for redistribution according to needs? In the old testament, think Isaiah and Ezekiel might kick in for the social justice of what would be foul to "compassionate conservatives". James, well, he would find empty stomachs very damning around Christians who preached otherwise.

So when our neos of the latest dead ideology and bankrupt(worse than dead for a republican) start name calling just forgive them. Remember they just didn't have the upbringing that you had as the narrator in Gatsby would advise.

Original article: A crush on Rush?

Greed will die but it is an ugly death.

This poison is about status and wealth leaving the grand old dowager's purse. Rush, Newt, today all of CNBC will pander along with the usual cabal at Fox to those who have seen Paradise lost - annuity is gone and burden might be justly shared...but we will have to steel ourselves for it dying wail.

Correction: Washington Times is not a news source....

It is low paid work for shills seeking crumbs by performing in a burlesque for.... It is improper the use a child's name in such a venue.
