Oh Please!

Michelle Bachman is principled? Gimme a break! Just admit that the REAL reason that dumbfuck Republiclowns love her is that they like hearing their own batshit crazy, paranoid John Birch-ite nonsense coming out of the mouth of a semi-hot female. It's the FOX News principle in action - just put a pair of tits on Joseph Goebbels and watch all the wingnuts jerk their gherkins all the livelong day.

Can you "explain" Helen Chenoweth next?

Actually, never mind - you haven't really explained anything yet anyway. Nice try. Kill this stupid column already... nobody really gives a shit what derranged right wingers "think" about anything anymore anyway...

Fancy Feast is bad for your cat anyway...

... when you start making good money again, switch to Iams - much better for your cat than fancy feast... our vet told us that that stuff is very fattening and loaded with salt, too... bad for kitties...

@travis mcgee

Um, no. I do NOT know that the King of Saudi Arabia is an "evil despot" - undemocratic and authoritarian, yes. But "evil"? No. That seems a bit of an overeaction. Remember, this is one of our oldest allies in the region. Seems to me that you neocons are forgetting just who our friends are. Get a grip, grow up and stop hyperventilating. It's not like you cons have ever really cared about democracy and human rights anyway - it's all just politically convenient fake populism undermine our President. You think the rest of us can't see right through your nonsense? Please!

@libertyaintfree

Meanwhile, here in the real world, Obama is pissing all over the GOP and making Conservatives his bitches.

Woof.

How come...

... when George Bush goes a-courtin' hand-in-hand with his boyfriend Prince Abdullah, Republitards and NeoClowns fall all over themselves to defend it, but then they get bent all out of shape over Obama shaking hands with Abdullah's father? Very strange. Meanwhile I heard that Abdullah and W have finally set a wedding date now that gay marriage is increasingly legal - maybe that's why cons have fought so hard against it. LOL

Just Scrap The Embargo Altogether

The fastest way to end the current regime in Cuba would be to flood the country with dollars and American tourists and raise the living situation and expectations of the Cuban populace - they'll scrap communism as quickly as the Eastern Europeans did in their Velvet Revolution for if we put our shiny capitalist baubles within their reach...

Republicans Hate Democracy

Coleman is a douche - I love how he claims that voters are being "disenfranched" because he lost. No, dickbreath, they already exercised their vote and you fucking LOST! It's not "disenfranchisment," it's simply LOSING. Too bad you can't do it gracefully, asshole.

I think that Al Franken should be awarded extra months to his term to make up for all the time that Coleman stole from him with this crap. Can the citizens of the U.S. file a class action suit against Coleman for wasting our fucking time and tax dollars?

Original article: "The Song Is You"

I was there... Prague was definitely better...

... which is why I never bothered reading the book... but Budapest definitely had better food back then, though...

Give All Your Money To Me

Clearly you don't know what to do with it, and I will be more than happy to relieve you of your burden...

Good Riddance to Bad Rednecks!

While I would mourn the loss of Austin greatly, I would love to see Texass and the entire dumbfuck south secede for good. Let the morons who populate those backwaters destroy themselves with their failed "greed is good" deregulatory policies - and then watch what happens when the dumbfuck wingnuts have nobody to blame but each other when their failed ideology comes crashing down on their fat heads. Meanwhile, the rest of the country will move forward into the progressive direction reasonable folks have been longing for for decades. Imagine how great this country could be if the dumbfucks in Texass and the South were no longer holding us back with their evil stupidity?

Well Done!

Great piece - makes me wonder how come Salon doesn't cover more music, though? Seems to me that Salon could do with more dedicated performing arts coverage in general...

Is Palin Seriously The Best The GOP Can Muster?

The woman is a trainwreck wrapped in a disaster wrapped in a fiasco... If she is seriously the favored GOP frontrunner for 2012, the Republicans are more fucked than I ever imagined. I mean she makes that clown Bobby Jindal look like Ronald Reagan!

The Wingnut Is Full of Shit. Again.

"These are the same people who, let me suggest, are not so much concerned about how they live their own lives as they are with forcing other people to accept how they live, to validate the lives they have made for themselves."

Hello, pot? Meet kettle. ROFL

"Second, there is the consideration of what we might call "the sacred," the truths that come from faith. Our social order -- and our civil code -- comes primarily from our religious institutions."

Bullshit. Our civil code has its anticedents in English Common Law, not from religious institutions. This is another common misconception/lie that the right wing likes to perpetuate. Our civil code is based more on the tradition of English Common Law (and, for that matter, Roman Law) than it is on Abrahamaic, Solomonic, Levitic or any of the other religious legal systems or codes provided in the Bible. That's why we call it civil law. Duh.

The only thing that this clown has got me thinking about is if he ever took a basic Constitutional Law class or has any understanding of the history and evolution of our legal system.

FAIL!

Once Again, Republicans Act Like A Bunch Of Retarded Babies

So now world leaders can't even shake each other's hands in a civilized manner without Republican crybabies going batshit crazy and throwing temper tantrums? Please. Fuck those whiners. Nobody cares anymore.

Obamalamadingdong is just a stupid dong...

Dude... you rant and rave about Chavez oppressing people, but what do you really know about Chavez and his policies aside from what the wingnut media tells you? Fact is, Chavez is not a dictator and he's actually done quite a bit of good for Venezuela, too. Of course you never hear about that because of the constant whining of the rich, white Venezuelan elite who have been victimizing everyone else in that country since it's founding.
