I work near Times Sqaure and all I see are things like Joey Lawrence in "Chicago" and "Legally Blonde: The Musical" and Disney and Monty Python adaptations outnumbering "serious" productions like "Coram Boy" and "Moon for the Misbegotten" &à-to&. I piss myself laughing at anybody who considers theater a more lofty cultural pursuit than film and television. What a joke. The only people who still care about theater are queers, tourists and the people who work there.
