I looked at the "Birth Certificate" and it turned out to be a LASER PRINTER template generated in 2001 and issued in June 6, 2007, and worse than that, two lines have misaligned text, which is not what you expect from a word processing document, but what you expect from a Photoshopped document. The misaligned text is clear from both the scan and the photos. You can check it out in Photoshop by drawing a line under the misaligned text.

A document from 2007 was presented as THE 1961 Birth Certificate until someone looked. That stinks, A phony debunking was carried out. That stinks even worse. Trolls and flamers go nuts when you post about it. That stinks the most. It stinks of fear of being caught.

That level of compression was selected by the people at fightthesmears.com. They could have posted a clear image as EVIDENCE but they chose to post a degraded image instead.

The fact is that the document is actually a substitute birth certificate issued in 2007.

The fact is that it has misaligned text in both the scans and the photos.

Theoriginal document would have been done on a typewriter and would have had misalignments. A word processed, laser printed document would have not had misalignments in the text on a single line.

When Dan Rather got flack for those so called forgeries it took me ten minutes to find out that the IBM Selectric II typewriter was available at the time and fully capable of producing the documents with font balls, many sets were being sold on ebay at the time.

The documents were probably real and Rather was shafted. I have not respected CBS News since then.
