[Read more letters about this article: Here]Chicago is run and controlled by a democratic machine as crooked as they get...sorry...no republicans around here to blame. Maybe thats the problem. Barack got his start in Chicago politics never having to deal with any serious scrutiny. It probably never occurred to him that hanging around with Tony Rezko or attending Trinity Church was anything but normal in a town and state where the bar is set so low. Barack was a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the usual crowd...but if he expects the same kind of advantage on a national level...he's deluding himself. So when he chooses to support a pastor who sermonizes about "rich white men" destroying our country and spreading aides (I'm confused, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates are spending billions to fight aides and poverty around the world)it's no different than supporting someone who claims "poor black men" have destroyed our cities. It's supporting racial hatred any way you try to rationalize it. If your such an expert on intolerance maybe you can tell me how thats going to unite us all??? To make matters worse when Michelle leans over to a black audience and slips into her "you folk" and "them folk" black speak....you think were all dumb enough not to notice??? When she says she's proud of her country as a black person now that her husband is so successful, why wasn't she proud of her country when Clarence Thomas, Colin Powel or Condoleeza Rice rose to prominence. The "Not Black Enough" insinuation is pretty transparent...and pretty repugnant too don't you think? From here on out no one gets a free pass when it comes to racism or anything else. If Obama is the real deal...no republican bogey man is going to ruin it for him...it's his race to lose. I still love Chicago...see ya at Starbucks on the corner of Wells and North Ave.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Not that it matters to those who don't understand why 3 out of 5 Swift Boat commanders who served along side of Kerry have the legitimate right to take their differences public with a man who got decorated for getting some fragments of his own grenade in his ass blowing up a pile of rice and "fled the scene at the moment of maximum danger", wrote up his own action report embellishing his heroism (kinda like Hillary claiming she was under fire in Kosovo), and then betrayed his fellow servicemen for his own political gain...accusing them of atrocities at all levels of command that he had absolutely NO proof of. You actually think it was dirty politics to call him out on it when he won the Iowa caucus campaigning as a war hero? He still hasn't released access to his Navy records! I see people dissecting other candidates lives and spewing worse sh** here everyday....Ya know if you could bottle and sell hypocrisy...some of you could actually afford to move out of your parents house.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Just so you know...after his first wife Einstein married his cousin Elsa Lowenthal in 1919. In private he claimed he was attracted to her because she was "very well endowed". He further postulated that if you are attracted to someone with large breasts, the attraction is even greater if there is a DNA connection. Over time of course this became known as Einstein's Theory of "Relative Titty".

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I was living in Washington D.C. my mother was working as a speech therapist for Head Start in poor city schools trying to help minority kids. My father was a Navy Pilot in Viet Nam who knew John McCain. I went to many protests with my friends out of curiosity. Most kids were there just to get high and have fun...many carried Mao's little red book around and pretended to be Marxists, just to be cool and piss their parents off. When I found out what Mao and his followers like the Viet Cong, Pathet Lao, and the Khmer Rouge were actually doing though, and the millions of people they were killing and mutilating in their cultural revolution, I felt very foolish and very naive. I also felt very sorry for my father who was spit on and screamed at by young kids who thought they had it all figured out...while he was risking his life trying to do something about it. After 33 years in the Navy my father never got rich, never got the big house, never got any special thanks...but he never complained. He's just proud to have served his country and still be married to the same women he was in 1968. I don't think some people in my generation will ever understand that...

Is there any wonder the rest of the world hates American liberals for being so banal and self centered?
