  • No cable, no problem

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I got hooked on Univision because I can get it on my no cable tv. But after watching it, there is no way I'd go to ABC now because of the lack of excitement. It's the same reason that radio destroys tv usually in baseball for me. I love play by play not human interest stories about the players and especially about the announcers themselves.

    Go Portugal!

  • The Secret to Getting Rich

[Read the article: Oprah's ugly secret]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I've enjoyed the last couple of years at the local yoga studios when movies like What the Bleep!, Rise, and The Peaceful Warrior have been shown. It has a been a nice gathering and led to good discussion. The Secret fit well with that mold. Interesting, some nice things to think about then move on with your lives via the philosophy that works best.

It amazed me last summer when all these seminars and workshops started popping up, and coming into the studio and other spots in the community with ways to succeed via the Laws of Attraction. I questioned last year how an entire cottage industry can be started based on this movie. Now Oprah is on the bandwagon?

I'm all for it if it leads people to start treating others with respect and love, but if it's all about aquiring material possessions, no thanks.

    Namaste

  • Gold Soundz

[Read the article: Did Gen X kill the rock star?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Go back to those gold soundz

And keep my advent to your self

    Because it's nothing I don't like

Is it a crisis or a boring change?

    When it's central, so essential,

It has a nice ring when you laugh

    At the low life opinions

And they're coming to the chorus now...

I keep your address to myself 'cause we need secrets

We need secrets crets crets crets crets crets back right now

  • Why doesn't Dick Cheney Run?

[Read the article: Why the Republicans don't like their candidates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Seems like most of the problems in this country have been caused by him and Karl Rove. I'd love to see the evil one jump into the campaign and get what's is coming to him.

  • Corpas Drinking Problem

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Saw the drink poured on the shirt, but didn't see the dirt going on there. I actually thought he might be sniffing red bull or something crazy like that.

Love the Rockies in these playoffs. Led by Tulowitzki, the might just win this thing.

  • never buy another Capital Record

[Read the article: Defendant owes $222,000 for illegal downloading]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I love the boycott the RIAA-supported labels. Check things out at the library. Don't buy from iTunes either, in my opinion.

I have no problem supporting the artist, but the labels have gone too far.

  • begging for oil -- how pathetic

[Read the article: The Democrats defeat the media]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Loved Hillary's comments on our failed energy policy:

"President Bush is in Saudi Arabia begging for lower oil prices, how pathetic ..."

Nice. I agree all three leading candiates are looking fantastic, and I'm hoping all are leading the US back to prosperity for everyone and better world relations.

  • There's a riot going on

[Read the article: How will it all end?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I'm going to be real disappointed if the superdelegates decide this election. If change is what we are really looking for, why look toward the ones in power right now. If that happens, I think Hillary Clinton gets it and there will be many upset Barack Obama supporters when the convention rolls in Denver. I'll be downtown protesting for sure. And I think McCain beats Hillary if there is an election decided in this fashion.

As for Florida (who wants to see Florida decide the president again?) and Michigan -- the rules have been set so why go back and change? If it goes to the caucus format in Michigan and Florida, I really think Barack wins. At my caucus in urban Denver, he won 78-20 over her and it seemed like publicly voting the crowd really went with him -- maybe to seem PC or cool -- because the room was full of his supporters.

The run up to the convention will definitely push McCain to the back pages, but if conservative media plays its cards right, they can push both Democrats toward unlikability. So I think it is imperitive that both candidates stay gracious.

Ps Really bad photo choices for the article.

  • Reginald Ray Tonight at Elevision

[Read the article: Dive-bar dharma ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I was probably going to Elevision tonight, and seeing Reggie Ray quoted in this article just made my mind up. The show is put on by Elephant Magazine, a mindful living magazine out of Boulder, that looks at Buddhism, yoga, organics, and meditation.

It really is the magazine of this new generation of the Buddhists. Check it out at www.iamelephant.com or pick up a copy at places nationally like Whole Foods.

  • Not rebuilding a nation

[Read the article: Killing ourselves in Afghanistan]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

After reading Odysseus Last Stand and Three Cups of Tea, I've been fascinated with Pakistan. The political turmoil of the last year not withstanding, this article just takes the cake. Afganistan was the war, but more importantly the rebuilding of a nation, we needed to focus on. Bush and Cheney funding Mushareff -- and losing focus in Afganistan -- while he sends millions to rebuilding the Taliban. Depressing, and something that all the world's people should condemn the administration for.

  • A fascinating article

[Read the article: How the U.S. can still save Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Omar Fekeiki's ideas are against what I believe in, but I really enjoyed hearing his point of view. A brave man in a deadly place ...

  • Step Aside and Stand With Barack Obama

[Read the article: "We lost this thing in February"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Now is the time for Hillary and Bill Clinton to step aside and let the Democratic Party win the presidency with Barack Obama.

He's stayed focused, brought out the best in his supporters and begun to lead us toward a better America. I'm proud to stand with him.

Hillary needs to move back to the Senate where she can drive the party's agenda.

  • Republican Returns from Indiana

[Read the article: "We lost this thing in February"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Kickstart, here are the Republican returns from Indiana:

    45 percent voted for McCain,

55 percent -- following Rush Limbaugh's requests -- voted for Hillary.

She should have been thanking Rush early in her speech. Now if those Republicans will continue to send her money, she'll stay in the race.
