Started reading this and was fairly uplifted-had heard about it on CNN earlier..

by the time I got to the last sentence though, I was very sickened at what this WH has wrought in the name of Americans everywhere.

These seemingly inocuous little details-like "had a 6yr old he has never met" is gut wrenching..

I'm glad some judges have the guts to do the right thing..

I think it is the EX-prisoner-improperly-imprisoned that should have the say about where he lives..

I think it is up to the US to offer them stay here--with offers of free education, psychological and medical help, and job-training..

Hopefully, the American people can have the chance to make a bigger influence of good, if they are settled here in the US-to let foreigners know that all Americans are not as shallow, inhumane, and sadistic as GW and Cheney..

and yes-GW was an very enlightened man/leader to be able to see ahead of time the dangers of becoming too close to nations-disallowing the skepticism, "big picture" scenario, added responsibilities like "protection" (meant to enslave)..

And then after getting into the military biz (the Bush family have been backroom dealers since WWII)...the GOP/govt. mantra seems to be "Let's you & them fight"...(& btw-we'll bring the weapons)..

How convenient.

Israel has been violating the 1967 accords since THEY themselves first signed them..They seem to have no problem-not honoring thier end of bargains-and only want to yell-when they don't get what they want..(like being called out on violating their agreements)..

They've disallowed any kind of humanitarian aid to Palestine for 2 mos (Guardian)-control all wages, commerce, trade, travel..EVERY aspect..and then feign outrage when Palestinians and Hamas get angered enough to fight back against these slave conditions/genocidal conditions of a cruelly-constructed slow death..

So they jsut want to continue on running roughshod over anyone that tells them "no"-like a bunch of 2-yr olds..by yelling "DADDY!!!" to the opportunistic Papa USA-who is all too happy to sell weapons and stoke the fires of insecurity, bigotry, and hatred-and keep it going (now for over 40 yrs)..
