I had forgotten alot of the antthrax attacks but had seen Ft. detrick mentioned this week in re to another article-But I immediately rmemeebred the anthrax attacks after reading about Ft Detrick and wondered what happened..

It's like all investigation just fell by the wayside after the GOP got their war..

I seem to also recall that Guiliani had some sort of chemical/biological warfares tests going on just the week before 9/11 and the question of anthrax was raised even just before 911..

It would not at all surprise me to learn that GW/Cheney had concocted a 1-2 coordinated punch to emotionally freeze people from making sound decisions.

The way investigations just dropped off the radar after all of the fearmongering is suspect/suspicious..

I've also read that the Bush family has some business interest in a private compnay/lab which manufactures biological/ chemicals which I though had business dealings with Ft Detrick..

I don't recall the name of the company though.. sorry

I also recall CNN and many other networks pushing Rummys' "avian flu" antidote of Tamiflu stories nightly for months..

How convenient Rummy was on the board and had worked for Eli-Lilly (I think) that makes Tamiflu..

Judy Millers' name popped up in a oped she wrote about the company making the vaccine..

Seems there may have been a selloff of stock in the company jsut before Ivins death.

Then another company gets a contract for an anthrax vaccine..

I guess Ivins also was the one to gain from having the patent

(course if he was dead & another company decide to manufacture same patent.....hmm).

So beside Ivins-one needs to look at the companies involved..patents

I also emailed an art to you about Ft. Bragg doing studies on an anthrax vaccine from Gulf War 1--and how they're now conveniently "gone".

Hmm..let's see..Blackwater in close proximity to a bioterrorism--it's not hard to see after all of the unanswered questions about this war, 911, the anthrax attacks, why these 2 in such close proximity to each other is NOT a good thing at all.

Keep in mind even--many of the rendition flights are from a private company operating in the next county over from me..

It's a major research area RTP--but the money wanting to be spent in "bioweapons" is NOT a cost-either in moral goodstanding of the world, or in monetary cost that is worth justifying-and should be shut down immediately..

Don't know what Senators or politicians have bought into this, I guess, visionary payola for the GOP here.

One would only have to look at the Pharma companies, Amway, Blackwater, BOA (illegal/overextended loans?)-to connect some dots...

Alter and many other pundits are "in" the forest, and lack the objectivity to be able to step back from it to get a "forest-for-the-trees" bigger picture and connections that can be missed when someone is too close.

They can't "detach" to see how involved in their stories they actually are--to be able to explore other options/avenues--to use their own judgement/unbias/instinct..

They instead are being herded like cats--to a common theme--which even having idealistic focus--by illogically being drawn into an illogical/irrational frame of argument to be used as subterfuge from the actual problems..

It's been a constant GOP/Rovian strategy: toss out some ridiculous statement..and let the feeding frenzy begin.

Meanwhile the real culprits are slipping out the back door...

taking your jobs, your economy, your pensions, your rights..with them.
