Hi Be

You've got it, by golly!

Energy can't be created or destroyed-travels on or is changed-just like our own energy inside us.

Judgement day matters to me-and I resent being dragged down the drain for the sins our our leaders.

In my name, in others name, who's fault lies in the simplistic mistake of voting for "likability" or "someone to have a beer with" over scruples, integrity, honesty, leadership, morals.......

Who pulled the lever in that voting booth for each ones inability/unwillingness to see the forest for the trees?

Blame GW for that?

Oh, that's right--the forest has been clearcut by now to erase any evidence.

Plant new trees---nurture,water,protect,love,and defend.

Offtopic-and I know you hate hearing this........but....

But my great grandmother (who died many years ago)had a diabetic ulcer on her foot which eventually spread into gangrene-she had to have a leg amputated. Even that was not enough, and the infection had spread.

Please take care....don't be stubborn about this please.

ETOH can lower the effects of antibiotics--alternatives maybe?

Again...take care.

I'm concerned about you-much as you hate being fussed over.

Ask for help if you need it.

Thinking of you- Be.

Watching Jack C. clip

was so indicative of where we are as a nation.

People send in thier letters, write blogs elsewhere, go on Youtube with thier quips(McCain)and think themselves very clever over their little "72 virgins" or "meccas and medinas" quip showing the sheer stupidity and immaturity of people.

What are they basing thier own assumptions on?

What are they basing their education of Iran and the Muslim religion on?

What lizard-brain emotional appeal by the GOP are they failing to further investigate?

WE have known addmissions by our own governement, that we have very little intel on Iran.

I will admit-I know very little about Islam. But I also know, when it comes to the loss of American lives or ohters' (Iraqi or Iranian)-I will try to find out. Guess I'm Delays' worst nightmare as a "moderate" person who thinks too much.Fred Thompsons idiotic statements at the debate--insults even the lizard-brain thinkers of SC. (And yes, I WILL say it--becasue I grew up there-in Bob Jones territory.)

These are the same people who view eveything as black/white, win/lose,fight/retreat...

The same people who come on here with saliva dripping from thier military lips-----to see "Big BOOOOMS" "Let's Blow something else up".

I mean no disrespect to those who serve the military-but from the last thread--where many came out of the woodwork to miss the point GG was trying to make about Iran and the grainy, Boris-Karloffed "terror" vid-they want to go straight to strategy of what weaponry to use. Invokes all the Pavlovs dogs of militaristic prowess-to pat themselves on thier back to think they can see the forest for the trees, becasue they were in the forest. But I think the military has failed to/done a disservice to this country by not training people to think rationally. to look at long-teerm effects. To consider blowback. The Constitution says our military is to "provide for the common defense". Is it being used as such-or "offense"?

Only stepping back, and away, and over "emotional" lizard-brain rational, asking questions, learning about Iran and other countries from OTHER, OUTSIDE, ALTERNATE viewpoints can one see.

If one wants to read only the things that support ones' argument-this is most egotistic and wrong.

It shows, a closedmindedness--that despite ones' intellect or degree-----is insulting (both to those who think rationally and the people of those countries targetted for hate).

Mr. I-walk-everywhere and Shooter:

Did you ever stop to think that if we had an energy policy that was not dependent on oil-many of the wars of the past 40- yrs could have been preventable.

We know about global warming-despite the Okies' screams that it's all a fake.

We also know of the death toll and loss of life-not to mention PTSD and the long-term benefits and medical aid that results from wars.

For the nearly trillion we've spent on the war-we could have developed alternate energy policies.

Does this just make too much sense for you to comprehend?

The Bush family,Cheney, LBJ were all oil men-friends of the Saudis.

Why the disconnect on these key points?

Why do you keep citing all of these argumants as separate things-instead of integrating them into a "big-picture" of what reality is-that this war is about oil.

Rather than saying we've got to protect "ours" by sending carriers to threaten other countries-why not come up with alternatives?

Your mentality means your own kids, grans, and the future--are going to be wrought with blowback of our bad policies, expensive oil,and even more raping of Americans by oil companies.

shooter

I drive a small car.

just bought enmergy-efficient bulbs.

Yes I am for nuclear-it's cleaner.

Coal-no

Wind, tidal, solar--yes.

coal liquification-yes for fuel-for Fischer Tropsky process-needs more filtration for conatminants and toxins.

Can be done though.

Plentiful resource in US-would rather see that than try to overconvert to ethanol, although Brazil has done it.

Car manus are deliberately making heavier cars.(use more oil)

Just saw a Tata comparison to the Hummer in the paper.

Tata 50 mpg, aluminum, 2-cylinder.

the mini-coop weighs 2,546 lbs., gets 26/34 (less than my German)

the Hummer weighs 6,614 lbs. and gets 10/13 mpg

Ondo and drive bys

I was comparing tata to Hummer-I'm not in the market for a car.

It's also not available in US/won't be for some time.

GM coming out with new fuel cell technology.

I'd look at Honda first though if I were in the market.

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/01/10/bush-calls-iran-provocateurs-us-backtracks-on-the-iranian-speedboat-incident/

I posted earlier-but has good links on Naval offices for Incidents on what they've determined.

Shooter asked(energy policy)-I responded.

-now I'm back to original content of Iran.
