Thrasher-still there?

One other thing-just thought of.

A while back-I'd written the networks to express my displeasure about the airtime Obama was getting-in comparison to HRC.

I checked Media Matters, who keep record week to week of coverage. That particular week-It's been a few mos., so I don't recall which week-but HRC had been mentioned 14 stories, Obama & Edwards 7 each. I also noted how the network I was watching-cut away from Obama speech-showing poll results in the middle(NOT happy).

Quite a discrepancy in the coverage.

Perhaps it may be a good idea-to keep a look at this site-or even keep a log yourself on whatever network you watch-as further proof to bolster your case.

You may also want to check out GOP websites and blogs to keep a record of racist attacks and record it.

It would give more validity/proof of what you say-will raise awareness within the black community to complain to websites and networks-to show that you are paying attention to what they are doing.

Just food for thought.

Thrasher

think I'm beginning to get what's going on here in the Sharpton-variety talk I'm hearing from you.

As an activist-I don't think you're as good as you think you are about actually raising awareness. I think you are playing people here. I guess I'm just naive to think that people I'm talking to here are actual people-not activists.

Course you explained that early on didn't ya?

I just didn't understand-now I do.

But your "activism"-isn't really about raising awarenenss at all-it's about inciting isn't it?

Wow, I'd almost peg you for a GOP troll to be doing this.

I would think a good activist would have kept up his attacks to make a point about GG. Instead you come in here, make a bunch of accusations...then start attacking each poster calling them racist-when most of them are saying on it, in re: to GGs post-this won't be stood for. But now, your gonna go back to your "activist" group---and try to say we're the ones who are racist--when you are the one making that against each and eveyone here. Guess that ensures that you keep your job huh?

My BS meter should have gone off when you said the personal feelings/activist job stuff. Now I get it.

You're a paid troll.

Aych.

I agree with ya. There is racism.

But Thrasher came in here making accusations against everyone.

One would think as an activist-he would have kept up attacks on GG to make his point-he did not.

As I told him-liberals are angry.

But I don't have to be out in the street rioting. I can go to media matters and other blogs to keep a tab.

That's the ego talking in him(thrasher) and was very telling:

About thme thinking themselves much better in person where the objective is not a kum bi ya moment-

Telling indeed-about what he is-and what he's trying to do.

After all-if there was peaceful resolution or consensus-he'd be out of job now wouldn't he?

Hope Thrasher doesn't take any jobs with GREENPEACE-

we sure as hell don't need any more wars.

Good riddance to ya T.

Besides cheese and wrecked Saab, LWMs, Thrashers,Shooters are selling wedges of pie:

Chocolate pie

Israel-first, beat the hell out of the world-bully-pie

shooter-fly-GOP-pie

All have articial ingredients with ingredients from China-lead and mercury. An artificial sweetener proven to cause cancer-but so what?

They'll grab your coffee for ya here.

They'll deliver the news, in thier cut-and-paste way to your doorstep everyday to endear themselves to you.

Course, you don't know what the bill for all this is until later---$120 a barrel oil, another war--is that the price for that cut n paste delivery service?

Don't know you'll get cancer of the stomach from that poisoned wedge of pie.

If you say you like populist pie-they'll call you a bigot, drug-user, INSANE....

Becasue since they've been bringing you your coffee and wedge-issue pie---they'll think they've ingratiated themself the advantage of making choices for ya.

That's a steep price to pay for free pie folks.

Jim W., Ondo

This past Oct. the mebers of the Caspian area had a summit to discuss that area.

From what I gathered-they were trying to decide on the division of Caspian waters and a countrys' sovereignty- and make agreements on it.

From what I'd read-it sounded like those countries HAD reached a consensus-Russia included to -watch each others' backs-against US forces.

I'll look for the article--It was Asia Times-back in Oct.

Yes LWM-we get it already-you are "elitist" and have admitted so-So if a fireman came to your burning house--you'd want to see his degree first.

Those "smart=smug"guys with wirerimmed glasses haven't fared so well in being correct though now have they?

That's the point of the post.

we do have at least 3 carriers in the Straits.

http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/81119.html

Another article from abc says that it is a very narrow area-and these ships are clogging up lanes and merchant ships are having trouble getting around. Not happy about US being there.

How coincidental that Mahmoud of Iran signaled last week he wanted to talk to the US.

Also is notable that Mahmoud sent letter back in 2003-which the WH declined to even reply to.

Guess what we're seeing now is :"gunboat diplomacy".
