Or the fact that these "poor" people actually did SERVE thier time-I don't really know about the Ahnold-prison crowding thing that letterwriters are talking about. Compared with the rest of the country though poor prisioners DO serve thier jail term and do not get out for screaming for thier mommy or having breakdowns.

I was so concened that I went online looking up Jewish religion last nite. I've heard part of the reason Israel keeps yelling about an allout war over there is to somehow promote a Messianic coming.I looked up Gaon of Vilna-an extremely gifted intellectual in the Jewish religion.What most of Israel seems to be missing though is that Gaon says that this Messianic leader is going to be someone who brings world peace-not who promotes war-like a Bibi or a Joe L. Given the Mideast stormy existence of perpetual wars-why would the Jewish religion think one big war is somehow going to bring about peace? the theme from some of your past work wher you nailed it Glenn-is the mancrush. The need to feel masculine by equating power with wars and tanks. It's little boys who played with toy tanks, went to college, got out of the draft, get elected to office and pick up thier realife toy playing again.

The SC primary really awakened my eyes to how skewed the GOP is.All the fistpumping for torture. The fistpumping for doubling Guantanamo. These by men who would wet thier pants if ever taken hostage by the enemy-or even the thought of it.

It also goes back to the problem with the GOP. It has an image problem. The image they have of themselves is SO far removed from reality-it's just insane for the rest of sane people to watch. Can we get some sort of psychological profile here to question whether they know what reality is?

I'm not quite a boomer. But I think many of this generation and older have grown up with this Ozzie & Harriet mentality that you can create your own reality if you just believe it in your own mind. Part of this perfection is keeping up the image. If you just walk the walk, or talk the talk, or wear the clothes.....you're part of the mold. Problem is-life is not in black and white like Ozzie and Harriet. Life has many more complications than that. In addition there's alot more cable channels to compete with Ozzie..Technology also leaves Ozzie looking antiquated. People don't want to be forced into these molds-look at the polls to see this.

I'm sure AIPAC and the Neos came down on her and anyone to discredit her from trying to make peace between Syria and Israel. As soon as she or anyone has gotten close-Cheney and and others have said "no ya don't"- and have intentionally fanned the flames to keep Israel scared and paranoid of everyone.

Making sure Israel does not have peace with anyone around it is key to neos like Cheney. After all, if there's peace-there's no more money for the coffers of Jewish and American defense contractors.

I wonder if Israel realizes neos don't have Israels interest at heart at all. In fact I bet Cheney could care less about Israel and would simply love to get a foothold for a Mideast military base there, once Israel is wiped from the map from a confrontation with Iran.

in Gaza and other places in the Midest which break down to Sunni & Shiite. Prbably the best way to unite both of these groups-an even bigger threat to Israel-would be to bomb Iran.
