Bop

Funny-my old rommates name was Kit Carson.(ummmm no-no relation).

I'm glad for your wisdom and insight here. Perhaps you are "older than me" and I value your wisdom here.

I, and others hold you in high regard, here in that you don't shove that wisdom down peoples throats and accept that no 2 moments in time are exactly the same due to time/space changes.

there is only the truth of the world that you see right now at that moment. I'm glad that you let go of sterotypes and labels and recognize individuality. I'm afraid from my observances (at this moment)about an older generation-it's that they don't recognize that they don't know it all, and kid themselves into thinking simply by a number-they have the wisdom of hindsight.

That's evidenced by seeing how a person actually LISTENS to another to RECIEVE incoming info about the world-by himself or others. While one can blame hearing loss with age as one reason-recieving written word SHOULD be easier (unless eyesight hinders that). Drugs, alcohol..other things can hinder those messages to LISTEN, age irregardless.

Why I suspect people do this is fear. Fear of growing old. Fear of giving up power to someone else (a new generation?).

People begin to regress into that ME ME ME mentality of a small child. Wisdom does not come from someone like this-as those fears, the smell of sweat-trickle, that volatility in tone and message is evident for all to see. Do they need a pat on the head? A blue ribbon? A hug?-to be able to see that the paranoia one holds in such a mind-can be gone in a second-ok, maybe 2. That it can be gone-by letting go of those things. By choosing to be an optimist over a cynic. By accepting that someone else MAY know more than you by knowing you did a good job as a parent and seeing that wellbeing reflected back at you when you see your child (gran). Loving that younger generation, listening to them, standing back in awe of what they've done, and just letting them go....kneescrapes and all-means real wisdom. It's how society advances too-by learning to have faith and handing over control to those who have PROVEN that they are worthy and willing to do the work.

I thank you for your actual wisdom here bop-not guised in authoritarianism. I thank you for your open-heart and open-mind in recognizing me and others as individuals and not labels.I thank you for being guided by your soul over mind.

The soul knows truth better than the mind-no matter what the ego tries to tell it.

I don't understand how Bhuttos death

benefits HRC. Because they were both women?

That's the ONLY similiarity.

It was Obama who said Pakistan needs to be dealt with and troops sent there to root out OBL. Had GW done that, Bhutto may still be alive if it was Al Qaeda that did it. I personally believe the ISI did this, but again this leads back to the fact that had Al Qaeda been dealt with, the ISI would not have an AL Qaeda to blame. At the same time with troops there, the drug trade would not be out of control, the nukes would be under our watchful eye, madrassas funded by Saudi influence could be monitoredd as well.

Again, Obama has shown wisdom---yes, something even a young "whippersnapper" with intellect can do-experience not required.

Yep Glenn

Prognostication by the msm or anyone else, should have the hindsight/results of the results matching the words as observable fact not opinion.

I don't think Harmon was so complicit as you think. Yes, she may have done wrong in not telling sooner--but I think there may have been some party coercion there.

Don't forget there seems to be no love lost between Harman and Pelosi. I think very highly of Harman and saw her star rising-when Pelosi came in and demoted her from Intel Com. Who'd she put in Reyes was it? Reyes-are you serious? Not even a close comparison between the 2.

I can be wrong-but from everything Harman has done in her career-she's been pretty ethical to me (although being from Cal. caught up in the military complex). So while not squeaky in my book-just less dirty. Pelosi is the real one I have to think has compromised ethics. I've seen nothing NOTHING from her to show any spine-taking impeachment off the table on your acceptance speech on day 1 told me she was bought.

This Harman report I think is Harman trying to clear her name-she knows, and I agree-that Pelosis' gunning for her.

I was suspicious of Romney from the beginning when I heard early on Jeb and GHB were sending so many Fla advisors and money his way.

BAD sign I thought-and was worried for all of, 2 minutes after hearing Romney.

What an empty suit!

Sure he's likable enough-but even as GW faked it through 2 elections--Romney couldn't do such a good acting job.

He's got more flipflops than Miami Beach.

Through all the flipflops-ther's nothing he's solidly "for".

He looked like he had some sort of spastic spasm with the "double Guantano" ouburst in SC. I, and I think many others were scratching thier heads on that one.

Should he win the nomination, I don't think how truly visibly obvious what is at stake to the electorate-is being seen for what it is. Give ya a hint:

Close your eyes and actually visualize Romney-who looks like a Ken doll-and is as plastic and corporate money-interest-as they come-next to Obama.

Beside the obvious night/day, white/black, the plastic/real will play heavily to Obama at this time in our history.

WaaazzzUP?

Yesterday "Meanies on the Bus"

Today "Worthless Chatter".

You don't see the irony ironocrat, myself, and Tortero point out?

The Iowa primaries just happened (much to your disdain--OK, we get it already)

but seriously "meanies and worthless chatter?"

I'd respectfully say there's much more worthwhile chatter to discuss.

Over and...

out.
