I can think of some here on the left as well our neocon koolaid drinker that are equally as authoritarian (with thier single-issue votes)that this analogy is indicative of.

Sadly none, seem to recognize it even in themselves-even having been told on countless occasions by posters here---to respect everyone equally with themselves. I have a great deal of trouble having any respect-for those who don't show respect.I fail to see any human qualities ie good-in people who want to cut and paste or pretend to be Encyclopedia Brit.

I know it's usually masking someone with a skewed self-image/damaged self-I have much trouble with people who hide behind pretense and don't try to be human.

Guess I'm just "guided" to keep searching and searching-(and not US supported sites/mags)other places to get a better picture-a TRUE picture.

I also want to put the pieces together myself and not listen to morons-extreme lefties/neocons who by thier own koolaid-drinking mantra want to immediately shut-down curiosity about 911 or foreign policy by screaming "anti-semite","conspiracy theory"-thus resorting to beltlining techniques like "offmeds" or other bully techniques towards others.

I'm like you. I just started looking maybe...1.5 to 2 yrs ago.

My search began with finding an article in the Moscow Times just by surfing one night with too much time-It was the headline saying US/Turkmenistan enter oil agreement-the date was July 16,2000(01 maybe). (Article scrubbed now-can't find).

I happened to look at a map of where T. was-and everything fell into place about the wars, why 2 fronts, why these particlar countries. Further surfing turned up info about proposed Caspian pipelines (2)-one through Afghanistan, 1 thru Iran. So more and more-things began to point towards 911 either being an inside job-or a willful "negligence' in letting it happen-giving the US a "reason" where one had not existed before to go into Iraq. (Although this reason still holds no more validation with 911 as without 911;NO connection proven.

I'm like you. I keep hoping people will just start to look on thier own-or get an investigation going. I wonder that many of those who say "conspiracy" theory-are just possibly generationally-challenged (NOT the ones HERE!). People who still cluelessly believe becasue it's just easier or too painful to think Govt could have had a hand in 911. But I'll say it again-letting people/govt get away with it-only further enables more loss of life-more propagandized wars.

So I say-stay on it!
