Reading more on the L Est Republicain charges. Some of what I'd read on it-that possibly Pakistan planted the story themselves because they had reached a truce with Bin Laden:not to turn him in in exchange for him not making trouble. That way the US could quietly go back on their way to building a highway for major opium traffic that they'd been using for years-oh-and a pipeline. Said Iran is and always has been thier (neocons) target-why they've never pursued Pakistan and OBL. Armitage, this article said, has been involved with the drug trade for yrs, going back to Iran/Contra. Pakistan is a major route on that-with the help of the Russian/ Jewish mafia and Victor Bout.

Saw another interview with Fran Townsend questioned in 06 about the OBL charges that he was dead-and she refused to take questions on.

As far as Bhuttos death goes. Times of India has some vid up of a woman who prepared her body for burial. Said there was definitely an entrance and exit wound to the neck. Said Bhutto had lost so much bloood that it still had not coagulated even at the time her body was being prepared. Said major blood loss.

I saw pics of OBL many years ago in his early vid.

he looked like he had one foot in the grave. remeber he was on dialysis and had contracted a water-bourne illness which left him paralyzed.

Now how would someone in the mountains of Pakistan be getting dialysis?

Do any of us know how to interpret what was on those vids-language-wise?

It's highly circumspect that one comes out when Cheney/GW need a diversion.

Plus, with GW friends of the Bin Laden family--I imagine that would cause a great deal of strife between the 2-in terms of oil agreements with Saudi Arabia if GW DID actually go after OBL-as opposed to ,oh say.....Saddam Hussein..

So goes the cliches about having the best lawyers wins..the OVP/POTUS have literally taken this to heart.

Cheney hides out in his batgave like a coward and lets others like Libby take the fall for him-all the while knowing he issued the command in the first place.

He may think it extrmemely smart-I find it extremely cowardly.

This layering of lawyers,the funds for them, the reason for them--has not been clearly defined since GW/Cheney took office. I'm not convince it's entirely legal either-it's governing by proxy. It's really not governing at all-especially when the Exec. Office want to deny thier own role in issuing orders/directives and blame thier lawyers.With the sole intention of covering tracks and creating subterfuge-it's against the Founders wishes of open govt. And yes Virginia, I do think open govt. is what we've had in this country for over 200 years (despite more than a few scandals).

Cut the funding for lawyers Congress-go back and take a look at the Constitution for what is legal (amountwise,$-wise). Shouldn't the POTUS and OVP be using public defenders as opposed to private anyhow. I'm sure there must be clearly defined times when a lawyer is used for this offices-other than providing human-shields for them.

You bring up a good point about air-power. it is what the US has constantly used for superior dominance ever since WWII and the bombing of Hiroshima,Nagasaki.

Now they are used for covert CIA missions-rendition. A CIA plane that went down a few weeks ago had 4 tons of cocaine on it. (So it appears planes are being used for "OTHER" things as well-continuing in the smae vein as Iran/Contra.

Cheney issued secret directives selling F-16s to Pakistan-knowing full-well the US was helping them develop the nukes-and AGAINST THE UN. My feelings on why this WH kept the US from going into Pakistan for OBL-is that too many covert/illegal activities would be turned and our own military would be doing the 'uncovering". My theory-that tand the Bush relations to the Bin Laden family.

Getting back to airpower though. Since this WH came into power they have cut the amount of Fighter jets dipatched in US emergencies-and to patrol our borders from...think the number was over 350 to less than 20. Hmmm.

I find this both suspicious and hypocritical-especially in light that GW tries to portray himself as tough on national security.
