Just a question...

Why are all these former Clintonistas now switching loyalties. They must know something we don't know...like what they are really like behind closed doors

@ sonofloud Don't go there

Don't go there...pot calling kettle etc

BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT

None of these people breathing the rareified air of political office (and I mean ALL of them) or as an MSM talking head has seen a gas pump up close in the last ten years. (oops I forgot Hill's photo op).They have "people to do those chores for them and will never have to choose between food on the table or gas in the tank. Lets see..minumum wage @ $6.55 times 40 hours before taxes = $262.00 and an average gas tank 18 gallons @ $4.00 = $72.00 I sure hope those poor suckers get a second job or find a way to walk to work.

@amspeck

Thank you ! I heard that too yesterday. Any chance we would ever ever see a thoughtful analysis on an MSM evening news show Not likely.....Miley Cyrus showed her bare back...I kid you not I was watching in the gym and they have all three networks running and they all made it a story. sad

@susan sunflower

My favorite was a Hillary photo op at a seniors home where a lady who looked like the last time she drove was in the Truman administration said she was all in favor of it

Not exactly on topic...but I was so pissed I have to complain

Did anyone catch the Today show this morning. I support Obama but this was sooo unnecessary. They had Hillary and Obama on with Hillary tring to put forth talking points while Meridith Viera grilled her on the foolishness of the reduce-the-gas-tax proposal.Spent the whole time talking about issues Next up Matt Lauer and Obama..first question from Matt quoting that esteemed non biased newsperson Charles Krauthammer.... so about Jerimiah Wright why didn't you denounce him earlier..give me a break Why the MSM can not be rlied on to give us NEWS

@ dhendrix Exactly like NBC for example

Next up Matt Lauer and Obama..first question from Matt quoting that esteemed non biased newsperson Charles Krauthammer...from his Washingnton post article... so Mr. Obama ...like Mr Krauthammer says about Jerimiah Wright why didn't you denounce him earlier..give me a break. What a timely question. I'm suprised they didn't ask Hillary about Bosnia Sniper fire. FOX, ABC(hello Stephanopolis) NBC all the same ratings grabbing biased sound bite reporting.

And exactly who

On this planet takes anything that odiferous pile of shit says seriously. That you would even waste space on that turd is beyond comprehesion

They're all sitting in the back room laughing

I can just see Joan Walsh and the editors in the back office chuckling and chortling. Whoo Wee look at them rubes...we shore riled them up.. 18 pages of comments on a bullshit non issue. If we publish outrageous crap ...they will respond. No more money from me Joan..maybe when it hits the bottom line.

If she wins anything

It will be because she is the new face of the Republican party (anyone see Jon Stewart last night) Her comments and pandering in the past month have shown no difference between her and ARC (average republican candidate) I'm suprised she hasn't asked Hagee for an endorsement.

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 04:44 AM

JohnCP

Its not about what she won but how she won. Pandering with a republican playbook -win at all costs damn the principles (oh yes and all those "elite" experts

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 07:28 AM

Two Words

Hillary Huckabee

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 11:25 AM

@meffert

Oh thank you ...I had almost forgotten than MSM rant when Obama wasn't winning by the margins they thought he should

I Noticed

That in her appearances today there was no mention of her "Gas Tax" Wasup Hill not a good idea any more?

@Alkaline

I was just watching Countdown and Olberman said the Repub advisors were telling McCain to look at what happened to Hillary and think twice about trying to use the Gas Tax against Obama

Friday, May 9, 2008 10:38 AM

I ain't worried

I saw the complete interview with Wolf Blitzer yesterday. It was so refreshing. His responses were calm thoughtful and nuanced ...not talking points or trashing the other opponents. After 8 years of listening to Bush embarrass us on the world stage ("Awesome speech" As he said to Pope Bennadict)finally a Canditate who thinks as he is speaking.

Friday, May 9, 2008 12:03 PM

@jebldmm Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

To quote from one of your other posts "McCain is a brilliant man with a well-deserved, if overstated, reputation for being a moderate. He is not as moderate as I would like, but he isn't a neocon either. He is certainly capable of dealing with a crisis. Wheter or not he would deal with it in a way I approve is the real question." We don't need you on our side

Original article: Whither John Edwards?

I saw the interview on Today No Balls At All

no left one no right one not even a slight one. A self serving tap dance around the issue - what is he waiting for? Afraid of Billary are we? Waiting until its safe to protect our political future are we?

Friday, May 9, 2008 03:13 PM

We don't have to do anything... give him time

now that the attention is off the Dem race. Granpa will say something real dumb and it will be all over the news cycle.

Friday, May 9, 2008 03:15 PM

Bye Hill

not with a bang , but slowly eroding support

Friday, May 9, 2008 04:48 PM

Anyone besides me notice

How fast that Gas Tax Relief pandering bs disappeared from both Hillary's and McCain's platform....I guess it had no legs with anyone who has 3 functioning brain cells

Sunday, May 11, 2008 07:40 PM

Gee wiz I read the whole NY times and

except for the Op Ed Page there was no discussion of Hillary , her campaign or otherwise. I am very sorry Clinton supporters, its over and the rancor just makes you look bad. Hillary may have been a fine candidate , but she was destroyed by listening to her exalted advisers.

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:38 AM

NOT WITH MY NICKLE!

"All this, of course, will only add fuel to the speculation that Barack Obama's campaign may help the Clinton camp retire its debt."

I have donated to Barack and I don't want my money going to someone who willingly incurs more debt when the numbers prove there is no hope.
