As to the complaints about Bush's militaristic stance, I remember after 911 everyone, and I mean everyone in mainstream politics was for, not just war, but torture. So get off your high horse. You are all a bunch of phonies, and your phoniness is about to be proven.

Homophobia implies an irrational fear. Given the vast hidden cost of AIDs -- even its significant role in the current economic mess, the fear is not irrational.

He will, no doubt, throw his supporters some bones -- like fetal cell research, and maybe a liberal seeming judge or two, but the bulk of his work will remain voluminous, in the background, and mostly on the military plain as was Bush's.

The government isn't back. It never left. As you will see, it's the same vanilla liberal flavor it's been all along. Only this time it's reached its financial end.
