Boobers

I certainly wouldn't mind bare breasts, although I don't really live in a locale I see this happening much. The crack vials and cold weather probably discourage stripping it all off for a lie down on a towel.

But tell me WHY we want to desexualize the breast? I see references to it, but not much thought as to what the POINT is. Generally speaking, breasts, particularly in primates are regarded as important secondary sexual characteristics, and they play a part in the reproductive process(to biology teacher it up). They are physically changed due ot ovulation and sexual arousal. They pretty clearly play a role in human sexual behaviour.

Methinks you are making presumptions regarding what is best whithout first considering whether it even makes sense.

Like gods

"We can love or hate them or both (both Dylan and John Lennon were called the devil), but we can never understand them, anymore than we can understand God."

All I can say is: OH PLEASE!

Lazy EmEssEm

Joan -- you are letting your own biases through here. It was not a regretable gaffe, since this particular quote has not really been discussed or debated heavily in the media, unlike Clinton's denigration of Obama -- having been abroad as a child being his experience.

You are engaging in the kind of horseshit 'reporting' the media at large does -- you declare Obama's statements as an obvious gaffe. You might as well have said that The American People don't approve of this kind of talk. Moreover, you then state that clearly Obama has been thrown off his game. This is pure fantasy on your part.

Anyway, looking at the quote, Obama said he didn't think Albright would say Clinton was 'the face' of american foreign policy. I certainly hope Albright would not say Clinton was The Face, as Clinton should not have been, and wasn't. Ms Clinton may have been abroad and in the company of heads of state on numerous occasions, but the majority of this was in her role as First Wife, and she would have been absent from any official dialog. I have nothing against this.... quite frankly there is no reason to suspect her depth and breadth of knowledge is as good as anyone elses barring maybe Biden, but his slap back at her is as fair as her obvious arseholery.

The image is fine... quite 'liked' it, if that is the word. Despite what the "New York ad" person said... such "New York ad" people have produced a number of wonderful things that make me want to take swing at them. But, female circumcision is one of the most barbaric behaviors humans have managed to pull off. It is Just too hard to control though. Frankly, adverts by Swedish humanists won't do very much at all, anyway. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Most importantly, this post will be a good opportunity for the male circumcision freaks to peep their heads out.

Normal Food is People!!

There is merely one way for you to escape this cycle of alienation you find yourself in, and that is to dive into a normal. And I mean literally... you must MURDER a normal and smear yourself in his or her mix of blood, bile and fecal matter. You may then opt to feed a meat pie to other normals, thereby recreating their cycle of mutual submission, albeit unwittingly on their part.

Only then, through MURDER, will you find your inner normalcy and achieve equilibrium with your surroundings. Say it, your mantra: "Cut Them, Cook Them, Eat Them, Join Them ... Cut Them, Cook Them, Eat Them, Join Them ... Cut Them, Cook Them, Eat Them, Join Them"

... although, I have to admit... perhaps I have spoken too soon... anyone who goes about screeching "RADIOHEAD SUCKS" seems more banal than unique. Perhaps you should step into my pie, my dear.

The Specters of Convenience

Given my use of the microwave, visitation to corner stores, among many other modern appliances, accoutements and features, I quite embrace the 'Specters of Convenience.'

Murder He Wrote

It was a long a boring life. The hours passed as a snail -- except in bits encouraged on by sex and fun, addling the noodle and alleviating the soul.

Otherwise: the scratch of the pencil to parchment, the click of the typewriter key on its arm, the brush of the paint brush on canvas... the mourning of a dead soul crying out for release, however it may come.. even by.... MURDER.

For a soul can only drift for so long... seeking, wishing for experience. From this soul's corporeal hands, nothing of merit shall spill. For there is no, essence... no being... no merit nor mind of wit or fear. He may not feel mirth, 'less it be bestowed on him. He may not love, 'less it be showered on him, and he may not feel suspense, less it be inflicted on him.... by... MURDER!

In that last, gory eye, as you quiver above him, blade glimmering.... only then will he see:

... he should have used fewer adjectives. Adjectives for....BLOODY MURDER.
