Balls

Black Robe... Aguirre the Wrath of God... The New World... the mini-series(es), the Conquistadors (e.g. Conquistadors: Cortes).... thats just off the top of my head, and I could no more recall many more historical movies about the civil war i doubt.

Good lord man, in grade school we learned the Europeans contaminated blankets wth smallpox and delivered them to Native Americans.....Its one thing to discuss how horrible it is, but PLEASE, can you all just admit this record is part and parcel of every public school curriculum the continent over? If people failed to pick up on all this then, I suppose they were poor students (and I was not geek at all). Paraphrasing an above poster, perhaps this time, they should keep paying attention, now that they have learned something.

Bisexual too

I'm bisexual too -- its good times in the mind, even if you cannot carry it out in real life.

And that's the sticky wicket... no matter what anyone says, you are committed to one person. This is no different than any other relationship. I suppose it is a shame that you were unable to consummate this desire a while back. I always knew I was attracted to the same sex when I was younger; one can't not fantasize about what one desires during the pubescent periods of one's life... the thought just sort of... err, come. But I appreciate that you admit that you always knew on some level.

But, the fact remains you are in a committed relationship. No matter what a bunch of these people here might say, there is virtually no difference between this desire and the desire for other women than your wife. Witness: I had offers for mind-blowing sex while I was in relationships before. One was a threesome of quite desirable potential and the other with arguably the most attractive person I could have gotten my greasy hands on. But I kept the faith and stayed loyal. This is a good thing.

I would advise the uninformed who say A) that sex with a man is fundamentally different from that with a woman and B) That you are probably gay -- the second accusation is one of most insulting and insidious in intent (and, oddly, more likely to come from homosexual folks) -- I would think that, having been through periods of closeting, you owe it to yourself to be honest this time around and would presume you have considered this.

I would advise that you consult with the wife -- I know this can be hard; I have broken off relationships because the other person was unable to emotionally deal with my bisexuality emotionally, irrespective of the fact that I made it clear I was loyal and dedicated.

You have lost your moorings. There is no bias in this article, and just to state I am a supporter and donator to Obama. First, the article stated that AlJazeera DID tend to avoid editorializing... but that is not even something that enters into the matter whatsoever, because even if there was editorializing to some extent, the description given of the events doesn't bear any relation between the result and conclusion of the anchor and the word 'editorializing.' There is NO Clinton bias... but just to correct you, Obama has not been nominated in a close and contested election, albeit one in which he has, now, a magnificant advantage.

To state. baldly, as you have, that the 'game is over' is your opinion, not fact. It IS a fact Obama is not likely to reach the required number of delegates, and that there is still the matter of Michigan and Florida that may throw a twist in.

It is you, my friend, who are editorializing. Thanks for taking this one calmly, but clearly you need to calm down more.

so.. You are scrap mining

Peeling metals off of building and old vehicles:

"So what if I want to burn the plastic coatings off 50 pounds of copper wire so I can get money? I need the money!"

I would say this is so not an issue, young lady. I'd be more concerned y'all figure out how to get cash besides crawling through abandoned factories and condemned buildings!

Let's talk about that little nugget you dropped in there.

Surely you people are joking

Surely you people are being willfully insane... you would really recommend ending a long-term relationship because one partner is non-committal about recycling? For the love of god,... what glowering jacobins hath I aligned myself with all these years?

DTMFA= Dump the MoFo Already.

It was coined some time ago by sex columnist Dan Savage, who, while amusing, has only one mode of advice: If you are at all unhappy, dump your significant other because you will never be happy... irrespective of what the claim is. Significant other not into threesomes? Dump them. Significant other is in pain during anal sex? Dump them. Significant other has poinson ivy... The two of you will never be happy. DTMFA.

Certain unimaginative sorts think this is genius an repeat it at moments notice.

Thanks Joe Buck

That comes in handy. I was just saying the same thing to the kids over pancakes at the table this morning.

I gather you have NOTHING invested in this election, then, I says with sarcasm.

I am an Obama supporter and donator, but even I see that the so-called Obamorons are complete and utter arse-slats.

To paraphase a friend: 'I really like Obama, but I hate people who love Obama.

Original article: Miss Bitch USA

Back in the KPB

Actually, theoretically, there IS a 'hood in Germany (no 'ghetto' jokes).

Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng sports the look and the tattoos, at least. So far, he's been a complete bust for thee Pride of North London, but that doesn't mean he's not from a ghetto of sorts.
