Looks like someone else is having same problem as me. Using Juice, subscribed to Weekly Download & Conversations. Used to download fine, now my Salon podcasts just say "Downloading" but nothing happens. Juice has no trouble with all of my other podcast subscriptions.
Swift-boat verb: to distort legitimate, honorable accomplishments of an individual.
Nobody -- NOBODY -- deserves to be "swift-boated".
A child's excitement over seemingly inane observations can eventually exasperate any parent. But Mr. Rose's disdain for being subjected to his new kids' thoughts and discoveries and wonder at their new world is sad.
Mr. Rose, don't hold it against your kids that you've seen it all before. I'm calling you a grump. You shouldn't have had more kids.

Exactly. This young, blonde, pretty girl entered a pageant not because she's a young, blonde, pretty girl, but because she thought she was the BEST young, blonde, pretty girl. Aren't we supposed to teach our daughters that looks aren't everything? It's what's inside that counts? If this girl weren't asked to speak perhaps she would have won. At least she was challenged to demonstrate what goes on inside her head!
