How could Salon fall for this?

How could Salon fall for a movie perpetuating the myth that flight 93 actually went down in a field somewhere in Pennsylvania. Before walking into the theater, remind yourself that cell phones don't work while moving 500mph at 30,000 ft. in the air. Remind yourself there is no picture of the crash site, bodies, or luggage at all. If you believe the phone calls, then you must ask yourself when was the last time you called home and identified yourself to your own mother by your full legal name as printed on your driver's license - twice in the same call. Ask yourself if you had just seen 2 of your coworkers stabbed to death right in front of you, how you could be capable of finding an airphone, calling 911, calmly explaining the situation w/o a quiver in your voice, and do all that w/o getting killed? Are there safe-room/phone-booths on planes?

The only thing more horrific than the subject of this movie is to think about how those people really died. Because if it wasn't from a 500mph impact into the ground, it was probably by the merciless hand of an individual looking at them right in the eye as he explained this was for the good of the country and it's going to hurt him more than it hurts you.

Original article: Flight 77 video from 9/11

Where's the plane?

The Pentagon is probably the most heavily surveillanced building in America oustide Capitol Hill and the White House. There must be at least twenty cameras on each of it's five sides, but this is the best video they can come up with? The American sheeple won't stand for it, but they'll lie down for it...what a shame.

Am I missing something?

Am I missing something or someone else out there who is better than TT? I've only been viewing his work for about 2 years now and I don't recall a single strip that failed to hit it out of the park. He strikes at the heart of this country's failed leadership and its propaganda machine in a way that's both informative and entertaining - which is great for me because reading about it in plain text just makes me sad.

Yowza...

Analysis like this is why I just renewed my premium subscription yesterday for another year. Why isn't the 'liberal media' talking about this? The Tuesday primary is such a very important litmus test. Perhaps hope is on the way after all.

Bought CFLs once...haven't replace one yet in 4 years

Bought our house 4 years ago and changed all the bulbs at that to CFLs. Not a single bulb has gone out yet.

Killing the messenger?

Wow, wanted to view some reader responses to the report and instead I'm seeing a lot of bashing of the reporter. If said meanies can point out any factual innaccuracies in Moyers' show, let me know. Else, lets keep the sticks and stones to ourselves shall we kiddies?

I wish...

Man...I wish he was the most progressive. I love him and all, but he's no Kucinich. Hillary shouldn't even be on the list. Arlen Specter's more progressive than she.

NAFTA bashing WILL help Obama in Texas

I only recently moved away from Dallas, TX to another state. I'll tell you that NAFTA bashing will help Obama because of the Trans Texas Corridor that threatens to eminent domain people off their land and flood the state and the rest of America w/ cheap goods - and tax the crap out of Texans w/ steep tolls w/ the money going to a Spain-based company - courtesy of Gov. Rick Perry's backroom bs that wasn't voter approved. Screw NAFTA! I hope Obama raises awareness on this issue, too, like Ron Paul did to those who would listen.

Lack of photographic evidence is the 9/11 giveaway

The Pentagon - a jillion surveillance cameras on all sides - and not a single video of the plane - flying 400 mph/3 ft. off the ground w/o touching it and then disappearing into a tiny hold 12 ft. in diameter w/o breaking any windows around the hole (until the wall collapsed). Would love to see the the wings fold up and magically enter the building w/o leaving a trace of themselves or the tail on the lawn which remained looking like a green at Augusta.

I'll tell you what...

He would have to do a damn think if you guys would stfu about it. I can't believe Salon is perpetuating this distracting non-issue. Three weeks of party dividing bs like this has me this close to cancelling my premium subscription. Did Murdoch buy Salon and I missed it? Think I'll google that now...

New gear to help signal? It worked fine on 9/11...

"...airlines are employing on-board gear from U.K.-based company AeroMobile (and a competitor, OnAir), whose technology routes the signal through the plane's communications system"

Even ancient cell phones from seven years ago worked perfectly at cruising altitude and speed. Wonder what phones and providers the passengers of Pennsylvania flight whatever on 911 were using . Gotta get me some of that solid cell action.

War is a fact of life?

Sounds like she just volunteered - fit her w/ a helmet and a boomstick and put on her on the next plane to Afghanistan. Don't forget to write!
